What he said
The journalist informed Mourinho that Kayserispor performed despite missing three players. The Portuguese had a fiery response, blaming his players, specifically three for having a poor outing, or being complicit in the goals they conceded.
“You told me twice about Kayserispor’s missing players. Why? Are the players 12-year-olds? What is your purpose? 3 questions, you mentioned the missing players twice,” Mourinho told BeIN sorts.
“The players who played instead of them had ambition. If you want to talk about the match, let’s talk about the match. Every counterattack our opponent made was dangerous for us. Szymkanski lost the ball in the second goal.
“We risked everything. Kostic, Skriniar did not play in these positions before. En Nesyri could have finished the match, but it did not happen. We conceded the 36th goal after Fred lost the ball. Osayi could not close the area. We were very unlucky. After 3-3, Skriniar’s ball hit the post.”
