Real Madrid prepare mammoth ₦220bn bid for Arsenal star who destroyed them in the Champions League

Real Madrid are reportedly interested in acquiring an Arsenal man to replace a dispensable Los Blancos player.

Real Madrid are reportedly prepared to pay in excess of £103 million in order to secure the signature of Arsenal attacker Bukayo Saka this summer.

The English international is highly admired by the Spanish giants and is viewed as a potential replacement for Rodrygo.

Saka has continued to be a key player for Arsenal, contributing significantly with both goals and assists despite missing a portion of the season through injury.

Real Madrid’s Saka interest

The Englishman’s performances, particularly in the Champions League quarter-finals against Real Madrid, have reportedly impressed the Spanish club’s hierarchy.

According to Defensa Central, Los Blancos see Saka as the ideal replacement for Rodrygo, with the Brazilian winger potentially on the move this summer, attracting interest from clubs such as Chelsea.

While Liverpool and Manchester City are also monitoring Rodrygo’s situation, Real Madrid are prioritising a move for Saka.

Although the Spanish giants are willing to pay a significant sum for the Arsenal forward, it is considered unlikely to persuade Arsenal to sell, as the Gunners view the right winger as a crucial player in their ambition to compete for the Premier League title in the near future.

Selling a player of their leading forward’s calibre would be a major setback for Mikel Arteta’s aspirations.

However, the lure of Real Madrid could potentially influence the player’s decision if a substantial offer is made.

As per the report, it is believed that an offer closer to £150 million would be a more accurate reflection of Saka’s market value.

Despite Real Madrid’s strong interest, it remains uncertain whether the England international would be willing to leave Arsenal.

The Spanish club may ultimately have to explore alternative targets if they are unable to convince the Gunners to part with their key attacker.

What’s next for Real Madrid?

Carlo Ancelotti’s men travel to Getafe in Wednesday’s LaLiga action, keen to reduce Barcelona’s seven-point lead to four after the Blaugrana claimed a 1-0 success over Mallorca on Tuesday.
